Briefing papers

A briefing note covering the UK introduction and implementation of CE marking for mortars and screeds has been produced by the MIA and is downloadable from this website.

‘CE marking and the UK mortar and screed industry’ explains the associated legal requirements, products covered, testing needed and the introduction timetable. It aims to help producers understand how they can be prepared for CE marking and how to avoid unnecessary work and cost in meeting the requirements. Implementation date is 1 July 2013.’
