Mortar Industry name change

MPA Mortar is the new name of the Mortar Industry Association (MIA).

MPA Mortar manager, Mick Russell says:

“This change makes great sense, underlining our position as an integral component of the Mineral Products Association. It is thought the original mortar association probably started sometime during the 1960s but we do know we will be celebrating our 50th annual lunch in 2021.

‘It is certainly a tribute to the mortar association’s work over the years, that today there are virtually no major building sites in the country not taking advantage of the quality and benefits of factory-produced mortar.’
