Winners of first two heats in Guild of Bricklayers 2016 national competition
First two heats of the 2016 Guild of Bricklayers national competition were completed last week.
At Burton and South Derbyshire College’s Construction Academy, winner of the senior section of the Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire heat was Jordan Richards of Derby College, while junior section winner was Tim Johnston (Stephenson’s College).
In the West Midlands heat, held at Rugby College of Technology, Macaulay Horsley (Morton Morrell College) was winner of the senior section and Jamie Pennill (Shrewsbury College) of the junior.
Final of the competition will be held in Devon at the end of June.
