Leybourne Lakes
Set on the edge of 11 large lakes that form part of a 25-acre aquatic nature reserve, Leybourne Lakes, near Maidstone has been designed in the architectural style of a New England fishing village. When complete it will comprise over 350 properties.
To ensure a constant supply of high quality mortar, Berkeley Homes specified CPI’s silo system utilising natural coloured mortar for all the brick and block work.
The silo is filled with factory-produced pre-mixed dry mortar. It is linked to a power and water supply and, at the touch of a button, discharges mixed mortar ready for use. Each silo can contain up to 35 tonnes of dry mix mortar and can be refilled on site.
