Guild Of Bricklayers 2018
Heats Completed
Results are now in for the two final heats of the Guild of Bricklayers 2018 competition, sponsored by the Mortar Industry Association.
Two students from Derby College were winners of the senior and junior sections of the Notts/Lincoln competition, held at North Lindsey College, Scunthorpe. William Johnson took the senior title with William Austin the junior.
At the London heat, held at Bexley College Construction Campus, there were also two winners from the same college, Brooklands, Weybridge. Joseph Ritchie was winner of the senior title with Zak Kharbough taking the junior prize.
All is now set for the national finals to be held at Brooklands College, Weybridge, on 27 June.
MIA is sponsoring all stages of the competition by supplying mortar through its producer members. CPI Euromix provided mortar for both these final heats.
