Guild of Bricklayers Competition
Results of Final Heats

Two final heats of the Guild of Bricklayers national competition have now been completed.

Winner of the senior section of the northern heat held at Hartlepool College was local student, Aaron Armstrong. Junior winner was Liam Small of New College, Durham.

Yorkshire heat was held at Hull College where Lewis Greenwood of York College took the senior prize. Morgan Chambers of Barnsley College was junior section winner.

Competition finals are being held at Derby College on 21 June.

All stages of the competition are being sponsored by MIA through the supply of mortar. Producer member Marshalls supplied mortar on behalf of MIA for the northern heat, while Tarmac did so for the Yorkshire competition.
